How do I make Plan-IT Online take into account the Percentage Active of a mechanic in Plan-IT Workshop?

It is possible to have the Plan-IT Online on Time module take into account the percentage active in count that is configured with the employees in Plan-IT Workshop (since version 6.171.1928).

Configure

Follow these steps to activate this:

  1. Go to https://www.plan-it-online.nl and log in with your details
  2. Select the preferred establishment in the topleft corner where you want to activate this
  3. Click on the option Settings in the left menu
  4. Change the option Use percentage capacity technician to Yes and clock on the Save button in the bottom right corner

The online workshop scheduler for this establishment will noe keep into account the percentage active in count that is configured for each technician in Plan-IT Workshop.

Plan-IT Online calculates the capacity over the total number of blocks in the calendar of the technician. So when a technician has 8 blocks of an hour for instance, with a percentage of 50%, the online module will consider this technician as full when 4 or more of these blocks are occupied.

Plan-IT Workshop settings

Follow these steps to change the percentage active in count for a technician in Plan-IT Workshop:

  1. Click with the right mouse button on the technician for which you want to view or edit the percentage active in the count, and select the option Employee

The option Employee is only visible when your Plan-IT Workshop user account has Administrator or Master rights.
Contact your Plan-IT Workshop administrator when you don't see the option Employee in this menu.

  1. In the Employee window, change the number in the field with the option Percentage active in count (0 - 100)

  1. Also check if the selected employee is not set to Do not plan online with the Group option in the bottom right corner
  2. Click on the Save button in the bottom right corner when all setings are checked and properly configured
  3. In the top right corner of the Employee window, click on the  button in the field with the Name option to select another employee, in case you want to view or edit the percentage of other technicians
  4. When you have checked all technicians, click on the Cancel button in the bottom right corner to close the Employee window

Plan-IT Workshop will now ask in a pop-up window if you want to send the changes to the online module.
Click on the Yes button when you have made changes to the settings, to send the new settings to the online module.
