How do I create my own option in the online planner?

The online planner asks the customer a number of questions to make a workshop reservation. Many of these options can be completely customised. However, there may be one question that is missing.  Then you can create your own option. This can be created to your exact requirements.

For example, where would the customer like to leave their car keys?

Create an option

Select Options Settings

  • Set Enable options to Yes
  • Under Title, enter the question the customer will see
  • Select whether the question is required for the customer to answer
    If the option is mandatory, the customer will see an asterisk after the title.
  • Default Option, select the pre-populated answer if required
  • Save the changes

Answers

From the main menu, select Options New

  • Order, change the location of the answer. Indicate the order with a number. If answers have the same number, they will be sorted alphabetically.
  • Description, enter the answer the customer will be able to select
  • If you want this answer to be visible only to a specific brand, select the MakeID
  • Tick the Visible box
  • Fill in the other fields if necessary:

    • If you want the answer to be available in all establishments, select the Global box.
    • Select the Not visible when waiting option to hide the answer if a customer has indicated they want to wait.
    • The Code and Label fields can be used by a website builder to add additional logic to the options.

  • Save the answer. You will then see an overview of all the answers you have created.

Repeat the steps to create the other choices.
